Best Swag Items

Posted on June 2, 2017 by ASCENT: Administrator Support Community for ENT

In case you thought swag was just a 2009 adolescent term for being cool, it’s actually an acronym that means “stuff we all get.” You could probably fill a landfill with all the promotional junk you’ve received in your life – things like pens, keychains, buttons, frisbees, etc. So what can you give away that people will keep, use and display?

Here is a list of our top recommendations:

T-shirts

Nobody can have too many t-shirts. Keep your logo secondary in the design, however. Come up with a cool slogan or design for the front – something the general population will relate to or enjoy – and put your logo on the back. Just as many people will see it there.

Water bottles

Not only are they practical, they’re great for the environment! People will likely carry then around regularly, if not every day, spreading your name around the city. Insulated sweat-proof water bottles that keep water cold are especially in-demand.

Phone chargers

Short, retractable or spiral phone chargers are highly portable and convenient. Be sure to invest in both Lightning connectors for Apple phones as well as USB-B or USB-C for Android phones.

Food

Sure this is not reusable or long-lasting, but packaged food items with your logo are a sure way to attract potential patients. The best way to leave a lasting impression is to draw prospectives in with food and engage them in conversation.

Notebooks

Bound versions are more professional and sturdy than spiral notebooks, and are generally better received. One of the highest recommended brands is Moleskin, which is both sleek and durable.

No matter what swag you’re giving away, it should be branded to your practice. A sleek, updated look will likely make all the difference in whether someone actually uses the products you’ve invested in or not.
